UNICEF INNOVATIONS - COURSE INTRO VIDEO

I had the opportunity to produce this video for the UNICEF Innovations course, a program developed by TechChange.
In my role, I assumed various responsibilities such as directing, managing lighting, handling audio equipment, capturing footage, and conducting the editing process for this video. The B-roll footage was provided by UNICEF Innovation. Our recording session took place at the prestigious UNICEF headquarters located in New York City. Throughout the production, I collaborated closely with the script supervisor and the presenter, Chris Fabian.

UNICEF INNOVATIONS - COURSE ANIMATED EXPLAINER VIDEO

TechChange was commissioned by UNICEF Innovations to create 4 animated explainer videos, and as the Creative Director, I played a pivotal role in the project's success.
My responsibilities included managing client expectations and collaborating with the TechChange Education team to develop a compelling narrative for the videos. I worked closely with our talented illustrator John Taesoo Kim to create detailed storyboards that effectively conveyed the intended message. Presenting the storyboard to the client allowed us to align our vision and ensure their satisfaction.
Additionally, I oversaw the selection of background audio and coordinated the process of finding a suitable voice-over artist to bring the videos to life. Meeting project deadlines was of utmost importance, and I diligently monitored progress to ensure timely delivery.
Working hand-in-hand with our illustrator, I guided the development of an engaging illustration style that resonated with the target audience. To expedite the animation process, I collaborated with an independent contractor Jeremy Garcia to outsource certain aspects of the project while maintaining the desired quality.
Through meticulous attention to detail and effective project management, I successfully delivered the final videos in a timely fashion, meeting and exceeding the expectations of UNICEF Innovations.
CEYLON AVE - CONCEPT

What if there were a company that produced high-end jewelry at a fraction of the cost and gave you a stunning video showcasing the full process of how your jewelry was produced? Well, that was my idea for Ceylon Ave. Sri Lanka has some of the most beautiful gems found on Earth, and my favorite of them all is the Ceylon Blue Sapphire.
For the production of this video, I had to wear many hats; let me list some of them:
Jewelry Designer - Sketching out the design for the ring and communicating with the craftsman about the desired outcome.
Graphic Designer/Art Director - Coming up with the brand identity.
Videographer - Recording the full process of ring making.
Video Editor - Editing the video, color grading, and adding motion graphics.
